What would you do with £40,000? Would you treat your family ?

Wow, £40000 - that's quite a sum ! Well, it is to me anyway, even if I guess it's just small change to some celebs or multi-millionaires. So, the million dollar (or I guess that should be forty thousand pound !) question is - what would I spend it on ? Well, I know I would have to spend at least a huge part of it on something the whole family could enjoy. I think a totally unforgettable family holiday would be on the cards - somewhere totally magical like Disneyland, but not EuroDisney, the real American one. And it would be absolutely fabulous to take the kids into the gift shop at the end and say "Just choose whatever you want" without even worrying about the prices ! Although I wouldn't just blow the lot - I'd put some aside in each of the kid's bank accounts to help pay for uni or getting married or buying their first car or whatever they decide when they're bigger. And I think, to make myself feel better about blowing all this money, I'd use some - say a thousand pounds - to sponsor a child in a Third World country so that I could really feel I was making a difference rather than just being wasteful.
