Want free books and prizes ? Join the Camy Tang Street Team !

As you'll know if you're a regular reader of my blog, I'm a total bookworm and always have at least one book on the go. Finding publishers willing to send out books in exchange for a review on my blog isn't too hard but a lot of my friends who haven't got blogs are always asking how they can get involved too. Well, here's your chance !

The chances are, for all you European readers, you won't have heard of Camy Tang. I stumbled across her quite by accident online and instantly warmed to her as a person, before discovering her writing and thoroughly enjoying that too. She writes Christian romance and romantic suspense with Asian American characters, but don't let that put you off if you think it's not your niche. As she says on her website, "Nosy relatives, sibling rivalry, and parental angst are the same whatever your ethnic background, and I hope my stories give people a fun taste of Asian American culture." I'm reading the award-winning Sushi For One? at the moment (review to follow shortly) and I'm loving it. She says it's "romance with a kick of wasabi" and it's full of laugh-out-loud moments, as well as things I can relate to totally, despite having little in common with the lead character at first glance. Anyway, more about that book when I write the review !

At the moment, I'm here to tell you about her Street Team that you can join. In return for a little help from you to spread the word about her books (writing reviews on Amazon, getting your local library or bookshop to email her, finding new people to join up her street team ...), you'll earn points. And what do points make ? Prizes !! Very cool prizes at that, as apart from the offer of free books, she also gives away hand knitted scarves, pretty homemade bookmarks and other can't-buy-in-the-shops goodies. See ? I told you she was a lovely person !

All the books that you can see in the top photo were kindly sent through after I handed out loads of bookmarks at school. I've also just received her latest book, Protection For Hire, which I will be reviewing too. And she's running a Street Team contest at the moment which means not only you can join her Street Team to get involved too but I'll get points for every new member who mentions my name when signing up.

If you do this, leave me a message below to say you've signed up (with your name or email) and I'll get points for that too, as long as you double opt-in by clicking on the email you receive !

Well, that's all for now but I'll be back with some reviews of Camy's books very soon. Watch this space !
