The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt is a great activity for those looking for something fun and exciting to do at the weekend. More than 200 giant Easter eggs have been hidden around London in 12 zones from Canary Wharf to Mayfair - providing hours of entertainment for all the family. You could even split into teams to see who can find the most! There's also a roaming Where’s Wally egg, who you can hunt using the clues on Twitter and Facebook, and a Moshi Monsters egg, which is proving a firm favourite already.

In the process they are raising money for two really great charities, Action for Children and Elephant Family. To be part of the world’s biggest Easter egg hunt or simply to plan your day in London, log onto www.thebigegghunt.co.uk to download zone maps.  To enter and be in with a chance of winning the grand prize – The Fabergé Diamond Jubilee Egg, valued at over £100,000 – simply text 800011 with the unique SMS keyword displayed on each egg.

Everyone who participates will also be taking part in Guinness World Record attempt for the world’s biggest egg hunt, so you could even be a part of history!

It costs £3 to enter the hunt, plus 25p per additional egg code collected, plus standard network rate for each text. For 25p the charities combined (Elephant Family and Action For Children) will receive at least 10.3p, depending on network provider. For £3 the charities combined (Elephant Family and Action For Children) will receive at least £1.72 of the cost of the premium message depending on the network provider.
