Step this way if you like freebies !

Judging by the comments on my weekly Saturday morning freebie roundups, you all love free stuff - let's face it, who doesn't ?! - so I was excited when the founder of LatestFreeStuff.co.uk got in touch with news of a fab new project. As well as being the UK’s largest freebie website, they have also just become - as of today - the only UK freebie site to release a tablet app.

LatestFreeStuff collates freebies from across the web and puts them all in one place so you can apply for everything from free make up and free gym passes to free baby products and free food. Whoever said there's no such thing as a free lunch didn't know what he was talking about ! I was pleased to see that everything is 100% free... there are no postage or delivery charges, and all spam and scam offers are also sifted out. When I put together my freebie roundups, I always miss off the "false freebies" that ask for credit card details or have hidden charges or sign you up for a zillion mailing lists so I was reassured to see this promise.

Once you've looked through the Latest Free Stuff offers, you might want to trawl through the older offers by category. The app has over 500 freebies and 40+ categories so you're sure to find something to take your fancy. The app is updated with five new freebies every morning and the great thing about using the app is that you can get instant push notifications when new freebies are released so you never miss out on the latest offers. This is a fab feature because many of the best freebies don't hang around for long.

Once you've found an offer that you're interested in, you just need to click on "get freebie", fill in your details and sit back and wait for the postie. You can also share your favourite offers with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, email or text message, which is a nice touch.

I know that there are dozens of freebie websites and forums but I'd never thought about a freebie app. It works really well though and I really love the fact that the push notifications can help you take advantage of offers as soon as they are added.

Needless to say, it's a free app but I was also pleased to see that there are no ads. It's available for both ipad and android tablets.

Disclosure : I was gifted an amazon voucher in return for an honest review of the app.
