The hard...Adding soup sounds like a very good idea. The hard part with recipes is knowing how much liquid to add to the slow cooker because you need much less than cooking with other methods. Fresh herbs are great - although I ate a spring roll rolled in lettuce with a sprig of mint last week and didn't notice until almost the final mouthful that the mint was covered in greenfly - ewwww !!
