Giveaway #9 - 3 x 50th Anniversary Edition Play-Doh Fun Factory Sets - winners Dawnyloo, cleverish2001 & snoozeshade

Play-Doh has been a part of toy boxes for as long as most people can remember. And this month popular Play-Doh playset, the classic Fun Factory, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special birthday edition – the Fun Factory Spin and Store.

The new Play-Doh Fun Factory looks set to reignite kids’ imaginations with exciting new play features, including an extended handle for extruding Play-Doh, and a dial with eight great shapes including a triangle, bat and flower – feed in the Play-Doh and let their imaginations take over! (Oooh "Extruding"!! I love the word "extruding", it's only ever used in Play-Doh marketing !!)

To celebrate Play-Doh’s 50th birthday, I have not one, not two, but THREE of the new Fun Factory Spin and Store sets to give away to you, the lucky readers of this blog.
I'm absolutely loving all the retro products that are coming back at the moment (Sodastream, 5alive, Supermousse, retro Nestle Easter eggs, ...). For your chance to win, tell me which one product from your childhood would you love to see revamped. Come on people, it's time for a bit of nostalgia !
As usual, extra entries (up to 5) if you leave me comments on my other blog posts ! Make absolutely sure you leave me a way to contact you (email or twitter name), otherwise you'll be disqualified.
Good luck !
UK entries only. Closing date : Sunday 23rd May

Play-Doh smells so good, I love this !
When I was young,I played to the game "Cluedo".
It seems that now the children don't play this game, it would be nice if it comes back with heroes they love : Pokemon, Dora or others...

    Good luck to all !

  4. I`d love to see the return of McIntosh's Golden Cups, the caramel was yummy, and you can get them in a few different sizes, so if you just wanted a little bit you could buy the smallish on, and if you were greedy like me get the bigger one.

If I could bring a toy back from my childhood - it would be buckaroo, we had hours of fun waiting for the donkey to 'flip' :-)

  8. I loved Playdoh as a child. I really loved my clacker - remember those from the seventies: two giant balls with a string. Absolutely dangerous and haven't been on the market forever. I had a yellow one with stars in it. I loved it. I'd love to have one again!

  11. I always wanted a Mr Frosty slush maker when I was little. It was on my Christmas list for years, but I never got one! They should make a grown-up version with adult size trays etc for grown-up deprived kids like me lol!

  16. As a chocolate addict I want to see Caramac's back on the shelves... and those choccy bars with the different flavoured fruit creme in the middle - my grandad used to bring them home from work for me.

As far as toys go - does anyone remember Keepers - toys with a key to hide away your secrets? I loved my penguin keeper!

Can't believe PlayDoh is 50 though - I can't get enough of the smell. If my 3 year old is playing with it I want to eat it - that's pregnancy for you! Last time round I wanted to eat washing powder! Don't worry - I'll be fine - I'll stick to pickled onions!
