Giveaway #19 - 6 pairs of Sea-Bands up for grabs - winners Dee, KTBennetts83, Nicola Lester, jumblymummy, wendymcd83, carolefindsherwings
At the very start of the summer holidays, I reviewed (here) Sea-Bands acupressure wristbands, designed to relieve all forms of nausea and sickness, including morning sickness, motion sickness, chemotherapy induced nausea and post operative nausea. Well, we've given them a thorough road (and sea and air) testing over the summer and I'm pleased (and I admit, slightly amazed !) to say that they seem to have worked every single time. The only sick I have had to clear up all summer long was courtesy of the dog - hmm I wonder if they'd consider making canine Sea-Bands for when we drop them off at the kennels !
But don't just take my word for it - try them out for yourselves ! I have SIX pairs of Sea-Bands up for grabs, worth a grand total of £48. To be in with a chance of winning, tell me in the comments box one thing (apart from Sea-Bands) that you have found sometimes relieves nausea, whether during pregnancy or travelling or whenever else you can think of.
For me, when I was suffering with morning sickness, I used to take a glass of coke and a ginger biscuit to bed with me so that as soon as I woke up, I'd drink flat coke and eat the biscuit before getting out of bed. It sort of worked but only for a while - I wish I'd known about Sea-Bands back then and I'd have given them a go !
Closing date : Sunday 12th September 2010. UK only.
Don't forget to leave me a way to contact you via twitter or email or you can't win !
Good luck !

ReplyDeleteI get terrible travel sickness, I'd love to try them.
ReplyDeleteHolding a 2p coin in my hand during long journeys always prevented travel sickness when I was a child. Don't know why or how???
ReplyDelete@wendymcd83
When I was travelling in cars as a child (teenager, and occasionally still now) I was incredibly prone to travel sickness and very little seemed to soothe me. Until I discovered that imagining an animal (usually a wolf or deer in my case) running along outside the car, jumping hedges, swimming rivers, avoiding cars at junctions etc distracted me enough and had me focus on something sufficient enough to stop me from getting nauseous. I've always been too embarrassed to admit to this though so I have no idea if it works for anyone else!!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm suffering from morning sickness and would love to have a pair of these to ease things otherwise I may just go mad!
whoops. @caroleheidi (forgot to add that bit!)
