Giveaway #30 - 1 copy of 365 Everyday Games and Pastimes by Martin & Simon Toseland- CLOSED winner @netcurtains


I've just reviewed (here) this fabulously retro blast-from-the-past that will have you squealing as you remember long-forgotten games from your youth before dissolving into giggles as you explain them to your kids and then play them all together ! It's a lovely trip down memory lane and a great reference manual to dip into for fun things to do on rainy days or during the long school holidays.

I have one copy to give away to one lucky reader. In order to win, you must do all of the following :

2. Leave me a comment with a way of contacting you via twitter or email. Please note : If you don't reply to my message asking for your details within a week, I'll have to pick another winner.     love this product and thanks for letting me know about your blog. I think we have lost so much in these days of electronic games and that a return to the old-fashioned is long overdue.
    Families working and playing together - has to be a very good thing.

    Oh, this looks like such an amazing book! My favourite game when I was a kid was an old board game called 'Coppit'. I used to play with my grandparents and I loved it!

    This book looks amazing!! Growing up on an island we spent most of our time playing games since we had no cinema, bowling, swimming pool etc, and you know what?I wouldn't change it for the world!! I remember how much fun we all had adapting games & making up our own. Fantastic giveaway.

    As a child my favourite outdoor game was skipping with "enders" turning the rope and everyone jumping in and out doing rhymes and actions. Indoors I enjoyed draughts.

    I loved the game where you put a tennis ball in a stocking and then stand with your back to the wall and bounce the ball on either side of you. I never understood the point of it, but it kept me entertained for hours!!
