Jumbo Games Winnie the Pooh puzzles review

Much to the delight of the kids, we're having a bit of a Winnie The Pooh-fest here at The Madhouse at the moment. First of all, the wonderful people at Fairy sent me a fantastic Winnie the Pooh-themed surprise package (which I blogged about here), then we received some puzzles to review from Jumbo Games.

Jumbo Games have created a new range of Winnie the Pooh puzzles to coincide with the release of the new Winnie the Pooh film in cinemas. They sent us a box containing two puzzles, one with 12 pieces and one with twenty-four pieces. They're designed for age group 3+ but 6-year-old Juliette was more than happy to be chief tester, before I'd even asked her !

I was initially dubious about the idea of having two puzzles in one box but it's actually very well thought out and each puzzle has different sized pieces. It's therefore dead easy to distinguish between the two designs, which makes it easy for the child but also the parents who inevitably end up having to put them all together again or at least count the bits when it's time to tidy up ! It's also great if you have two kids who want to play side by side and avoids endless squabbling !

Despite the different number of pieces, each completed puzzle measures approximately 31 x 22cm. They're brightly coloured, very sturdy and cleanly cut and Juliette loved the designs.

Perfect for little Pooh fans who may have just had their first ever trip to the cinema to watch Winnie on the big screen !

  1. I love winnie the pooh, ( hence the twitter name) and grandson loves jigsaw puzzles. the two different sizes are an excellent idea, most of ours end up muddled up in the wrong boxes anyway.
