BOB’S BIG BUILD EVENT WOWS FANS AS THE ‘CAN DO CREW’ TAKE OVER THE O2

27 August 2011, LONDON: Today, 2500 Bob the Builder fans descended on London’s O2 Live Quarter to attend ‘Bob’s Big Build’, an interactive event of all things Bob! The extravaganza reached full capacity and was hugely oversubscribed with nearly 16,000 people previously registering in a ballot for free tickets.

Arriving at the Live Quarter, guests were greeted by Bob and Wendy and presented with hard hats before embarking on a tour of his world through 10 special activity zones. Children were able to take part in special challenges and activities along the way that included a scooter track test, wall building, face painters and a live Bob the Builder performance.

At the end of the tour, guests were treated to a special preview of Bob’s new feature length DVD, “The Big Dino Dig”, set for release on 19 September, which sees Bob unearth some real dinosaur bones on the site of Fixham Harbour’s new theme park.

Angela Potticary, who attended the event with her 3 year old son said:
“My three year old Freddie is a massive Bob fan and has been looking forward to coming to Bob’s Big Build for weeks! We’ve both had an amazing day and I’ve been so impressed with the huge range of activities on offer. He particularly loved the scooter track, the screening of Big Dino Dig but most of all he was delighted to meet Bob himself!”
