VUP Baby Beaba Regulo Cup review

A little while ago, I shared an article with you (here) that was written by VUP Baby to explain why you should buy BPA-free bottles. Well, they were also kind enough to send me a (BPA-free, obviously !) Beaba Regulo Cup to review.

It's a very effective, no-spill toddler cup with a button to turn which regulates the flow from 0 - 4 (closed, 1st stage, 2nd stage and fast flow). This means that it can safely be used from birth onwards, which is great if you're a breastfeeding mum and want to avoid feeding bottles with teats which could lead to nipple confusion. It's also perfect for getting toddlers to move away from bottles and onto cups.

Pierre instantly started testing and, try as he might (and believe me, he did !), he couldn't manage to make it leak. Even when it was rolling around on his high chair tray, being put on his lap upside down or knocked on the floor, there was no spillage whatsoever.

Even big sister Juliette thought it looked very funky and wanted to try it out too ! She said it was easy to drink from and loved the regulator button, even though she found it so hard to turn that she had to use her teeth on it !

It comes with a protective lid to keep the spout clean and has a wide base so it's very stable. One thing to remember is that it is not dishwasher or microwave safe, which is a bit of a shame. It is made from BPA-free polypropylene and has a silicone tip.

The great thing about shopping at VUP Baby is that you can browse the whole store safe in the knowledge that they only stock totally non-toxic products, free from BPA, PVC & Phthalates, so the only thing you have to worry about is the choice of colours and design !
