WWF children's T-shirt review

WWF, the leading worldwide conservation organisation, has just released a new range of children's clothing and we were really pleased to be sent this funky giant panda T-shirt to review. The range features organic cotton and fair trade items to reflect the growing popularity among consumers for ethical and environmentally aware products.

Howard Wright of WWF-UK, said: “Shopping habits in recent years have changed significantly, and we have found that many consumers are now considering the ethical and environmental implications of their purchases. Our new children’s clothing range not only fulfils this consideration and reflects our ethos and mission, but will hopefully be loved by children and their parents, as there are some excellent designs featuring some of the endangered animals our work seeks to help.”

Well, 6-year-old Juliette absolutely loved it as soon as she laid eyes on it. The T-shirt is really high quality and fits her perfectly. The only "problem" is, this is the size 3-4 years so be warned, go for the exact size rather than getting the next size up to leave room to grow or your child won't be wearing it for a couple of years ! (As a rough size guide, Chest Sizes: 3-4 yr - 73cms, 5-6 yr 80cms, 7-8 yr 86cm, 9-11 yr 91cms.)

There are various other designs, featuring endangered (and cute) animals including the red squirrel, hanging monkey, polar bear and Siberian tiger, as well as the giant panda one that Juliette modelled.

The range of children’s clothing is available at wwf.org.uk/shop and prices range from £10 - £20.
