The new ‘Reward Club’ card from Beefeater Grill

Whitbread PLC, the UK’s largest hotel and restaurant company, has announced the launch of a new points centred loyalty scheme, ‘The Reward Club’ across all of its 130 Beefeater Grill sites from March 2012.

The new loyalty card format will encourage an increased frequency of visits to Beefeater Grill restaurants and it will help Whitbread PLC build a personalised communication platform with loyal guests.

When using the new ‘Reward Club’ card customers will be able to claim five points for every £1 they spend on food and drink. Once guests have collected 500 points, they will be able to exchange the points online either for money off vouchers or special food and drink vouchers to be redeemed in Beefeater Grill restaurants.

Customers can pick up their loyalty cards from any Beefeater Grill restaurant nationwide from 27th March, which they can then activate online or over the phone.

Amanda Barnett, Marketing Manager for Beefeater Grill said; “We are really excited for the launch of ‘The Reward Club’ card at Beefeater Grill which we see as a really innovative concept for the eating out industry. As well as offering our customers vouchers which they can redeem in our restaurants we will also be giving them exclusive, personal offers which they can claim throughout the year including on their birthday!”

  1. Im a fan of loyalty cards although they dont make me buy more or eat out more but I do collect the points whenever I can. I try to save them up and buy treats for the family as I see them as free. Often you also receive money of vouchers which can come in handy. Thanks for posting.

Many thanks for alerting us to the difficulties you experienced when trying to access our Beefeater Feedback website. On investigation it appears that the company that supports our customer feedback websites was having some technical difficulties, which caused the website to be taken down temporarily. We would like to reassure you that these issues have all now been resolved and the site is back up and running and you should be able to complete your feedback survey. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank you once again for bringing this to our attention.
