Our family-friendly Easter viewing courtesy of Warner Brothers

Well, we managed to get our Easter egg hunting done in slightly chilly but luckily dry weather yesterday morning but then the relentless drizzle set in. What better way to while away the afternoon than watching some fun family-oriented DVDs and consuming your entire body weight in chocolate ? (Joke - I actually bought some strawberries so we could pick at those, instead of eating too much chocolate ! How healthy is that ?!)

Well, Warner Brothers came up trumps again, delivering everything we needed to while away a wet Easter Sunday afternoon. They delivered a funky basket (which came in very handy for egg-collecting !) filled with 4 Easter/chocolate-themed DVDs : Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (starring Johnny Depp) - the original Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (starring Gene Wilder) which I'd never seen before - Bugs Bunnies Easter Funnies and Yogi Bear (which is a blend of live action and computer animation featuring the voices of Dan Ackroyd and Justin Timberlake). They even threw in a bag of Mini Eggs.

Thanks (again) Warner Brothers !

  1. I love Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - one of my favourite films even now! To me Gene Wilder is Willy Wonka - not so keen on the Johnny Depp remake.
