Thundercats Glow-in-the-dark puzzle review

"Thunder, thunder, Thunder, Thundercats !" When I started singing this to the Madhouse Mini-testers and telling them about Lion-O, Mumm-Ra and Panthro, they looked at me like I was totally mad. They have, it appears, never heard of Thundercats, which is still going strong and which I remember from my youth ! Thundercats was one of the most iconic animated shows of the 1980s and the new-look series premiered on the Cartoon Network last summer and was watched by over two million viewers.

The fact that she didn't know the programme didn't stop puzzle-mad Juliette from grabbing it and starting to put the picture together. She started with the writing in the middle, spelling out the letters of Thundercats (good practice for her reading !), then worked on each of the characters dotted around the writing.

It's a colourful 100-piece puzzle which is simple to put together because it has distinct areas to work on that are easily placed within the puzzle as a whole. The pieces are precisely cut using thick cardboard and they slot together easily and securely.

But the exciting thing about this puzzle is that it glows in the dark - how cool is that ?! Well, very cool indeed, according to the squeals that Juliette and Pierre let out when they saw it with the lights turned out !
