For every soft toy and children’s book purchased between October 24th and December 23rd the IKEA Foundation will donate €1 to UNICEF and Save the Children to support children’s education programmes throughout the world.
The fun doesn’t stop there! A variety of activities, designed to inspire children to play creatively, will continue throughout the day. Children will be invited to put on a puppet show using the circus toys from this year’s soft toy range and take part in a colouring competition to design their dream soft toy for a chance to win a prize for their school.
At IKEA we believe children are the most important people in the world - what better way to spend your Sunday morning than getting involved in the IKEA Children’s Take Over Day where you can not only have fun but also help raise awareness of the IKEA Soft Toy Campaign 2012.

Please note places are limited and children must be aged between 5-11 years old to take part in this particular activity. All other activities are open to anyone who visits on the day.
