Parenting is no easy feat. From the tears to the bumps and tumbles, and let’s not forget the leaky nappies and early starts! As a result, being eco-friendly is not often at the forefront of any parent’s mind.

As such, Tommy’s has introduced the ‘Green’ Award to its Baby-friendly Awards ceremony. Now in its third year, the Green Award gives environmentally-conscious mums and dads a chance to recognise organisations which are both family-friendly and also help to protect the world we live in for generations to come. The Green Award is sponsored by Environmental Business Products, and honours the most eco-friendly baby company, as voted for by parents.

This year Tommy’s has partnered with parenting club Bounty who will be generously donating £1 to Tommy’s for every vote cast. Each voter will also be in with a chance of winning a fantastic Peppa Pig Theme Park Mega Prize, including an exclusive breakfast meet and greet with Peppa Pig and George! So by voting not only do you stand a chance of meeting every little one’s TV favourite, but you are also helping contribute to the charity’s work to ensure every baby gets the best start in life.

To vote for your favourite eco-friendly baby company, visit www.bounty.com/tommys-awards2013 between 7th January and 18th February 2013. Winners of each category are announced at a glittering ceremony in London, in March.

Tommy’s Chief Executive, Jane Brewin, says: “There are many family orientated companies today that are working hard to preserve the world we live in. We want recognise these companies and say ‘thank you’ for their commitment to such an important cause; helping to preserve the environment around us for future generations to come.”
