The Orb Factory Sticky Mosaics By Numbers review

Last week, it was Juliette's birthday (8 years old and growing up fast !) so we tied her birthday party in with the Tree Fu Tom twitter party. One of the presents she got was this Mosaics By Numbers kit which she has just spent a happy afternoon making.

It works just like a Painting by Numbers set (but with much less mess !)

You get lots of sheets of adhesive backed sparkly and shimmery squares, plus some sticky-backed jewels and stars, and you just stick them on the right coloured squares on the picture. Simple !

Juliette had a great time and sat down for well over an hour making her pictures, which is unheard of !

Even 11-year-old Sophie loved the concept and wanted to join in and Juliette graciously handed over one of the pictures. There are five in the box so there were plenty to go round.

Juliette was very proud of her finished pictures and has asked if we can put them on the wall in her bedroom.

I have to say, I was very impressed with the finished result too. The photo doesn't do it justice.

Juliette got the Ballerina set but I've been to look on amazon and there are loads of designs available, from fairies and princesses to trains and fire engines. I'll definitely be buying some more of these as it's great to find an activity that they can all do together.

star rating : 5/5

RRP : £12.99
