Kids' DVD review : Mike the Knight Magical Mishaps

*** Don't miss my giveaway to win a copy of the DVD ! ***

"Be a knight, do it right!"

Mike the Knight - who just happens to be one of 3-year-old Pierre's favourite cartoon characters - stars in a brand new DVD that was released at the start of the month. We were excited to receive a review copy in the post.

The DVD is called Magical Mishaps and features six episodes of the show : 'The Polka-Dot Horse', 'Sir Super', 'The Many Knights', 'The Mission Mess', 'The Glendragon News' and 'The Real Sword'. In this collection, Mike's little sister Evie, who is training to be a wizard, wants to help her brother out with her magic spells but they don't always have the desired results ! He discovers that he prefers relying on knightly skills to his sister's rather haphazard magic (which gives young viewers a nice little life lesson about good old hard work being better than cheating !).

The episodes are full of magical high jinks that the Madhouse Mini-testers loved - Pierre found it particularly entertaining when Evie summoned up lots and lots of rather naugty Mikes !

If you have a little Mike the Knight fan, don't go away - I have a giveaway coming right up where you will be able to win your very own copy of Magical Mishaps.
