Aldi Easter treats review

Aldi recently got in touch to see if we'd like to sample some of their range of Easter treats and, having tried their Choceur chocolate in the past, we didn't hesitate for a second ! I find it to be as good as the big-name brands but with a much lower price-tag so it's a great place to look, especially if you have a lot of Easter eggs to buy.

We received their Choceur Flame Egg, as well as some hollow bunnies and beanie eggs. The 350g Choceur Flame Egg is very impressive - you get a high quality chocolate egg filled with some delicious grown-up chocolates. If you're a chocolate purist who thinks the darker the better and wants the highest possible cocoa percentage, you'll probably turn your nose up at it but if you're a milk chocolate fan, you can't go far wrong. I was surprised to see that this retails at £2.99 - it looks like it should cost more.

The Beanie Eggs - which, as their name suggests, are filled with Smartie-like chocolate beans - and the Dairyfine Hollow Bunnies are perfect for hiding around the garden or the house for an Easter egg hunt. The kid-sized individual treats are perfect for preventing the chocolate overload that often happens with the bigger eggs too ! A 250g bag of bunnies will only set you back £1.79 and the beanie eggs are 99p for 112.5g.

For those who love Aldi's luxury chocolate range, Moser Roth, you may like to know that this year, they have launched a Moser Roth Easter egg too. Costing £3.99 for 249g, it's a premium product that won't break the banks.

All Aldi Easter products are only available for a short time so make sure you grab yours quick !

Disclosure : We received a selection of Aldi Easter treats in order to write an honest review.
