More Dog Food review

My mum & dad kindly take in most of my deliveries for me so, when the postman delivered a huge bag of More Dog Food for the Madhouse pooches to try out, Dieser, their dog, thought he was on to a good thing !

Awww sorry Dieser, that's not for you ! We'd opted for the Adult Chicken variety but the range also includes Large Breed, Small Breed, Adult, Puppy or Senior, Light, Lamb & Rice, Chicken and even Cat Food.

I opened the bag and thought it looked quite similar to the other dog food (grain-free Canagan) that we'd been sent to try from Pets Corner - you can immediately tell it's a premium product.

The Madhouse Four-legged testers couldn't wait to get sampling it !

The main advantages, according to the Pets Corner website, are :

- It has a high meat content for a more appetising taste and for strengthening muscles.

- It contains no cheap cereals and uses the most digestible carbohydrates.

- It’s natural so you’ll find no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

- Due to the high meat content you feed less which means you save money.

A closer look reveals that, as it's free from ingredients such as wheat gluten, beef and dairy products, it avoids common allergens for dogs that can result in skin, coat and digestive problems. It also contains Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids to help improve or maintain your dog's healthy skin and coat, as well as supporting the immune system. The ingredients list contains natural antioxidants including selenium, lutein, bioflavonoids, Vitamins E and C and citrus extracts.

The most important thing is, though, that both dogs really seem to like it. They seem very perky but, to be honest, I think they already were.

star rating : 4.5/5

RRP : £10.99 for 2kg, £41.99 for 12kg
