Free packs for kids with asthma from ASDA

ASDA has teamed up with Asthma UK to give away free packs offering advice and support to kids with asthma.  The "My Asthma" pack is a self-management resource designed specifically for children aged 6-11 to help them understand more about their medicines, and how to be in control of their asthma.

The pack contains :

• My Asthma Plan – This is a fun way to list the medicines your child requires and what to do if your child’s asthma symptoms deteriorate. This section educates children to help them understand the condition in a fun way.

• My Asthma Calendar – This bright wall calendar with stickers is a fun way for children to log their asthma symptoms on a daily basis and the medicines they have taken.

• My Child’s Asthma Medicines Postcard – A postcard for parents to pass on to schools or other carers which records medicines the child is prescribed and gives advice on what to do in an asthma emergency.
