I was delighted to be approached by Hallmark a few weeks ago and invited to be a member of their blogger panel. And so was Pierre because we received this rather gorgeous bear to review as our first mission !
He's incredibly soft and snuggly and Pierre couldn't resist giving him cuddles every five minutes !
Pierre loves his blue nose (you may remember he missed out when we got some Blue Nose toys to review a couple of months ago !) and the big blue heart on the front. I was impressed to learn that each bear is totally unique because they have totally individual fabric patchwork patterns with no two the same.
But he's not just a totally huggable soft toy.
Pierre soon discovered that if you push the button on his foot, you can record a message that you can hear being played back by pressing his tummy. You can then block this message so that it can't be altered - perfect if you have a special message from an absent or seldom visited relative - or have great fun recording and playing back new messages, which is what Pierre loves doing !
Cheeky recorded messages like "oops I did a fart" and "Mummy, I need a wee", as well as recorded snores and burps, had Pierre giggling his head off when he laid down on the settee for a rest !
But the cheeky bear (and boy!) were very well behaved at bedtime so they were allowed to snuggle up in bed together for the night !
The 30cm bear takes 3 x AA batteries but the good news is, they come already installed. It would be a lovely soft toy even if it didn't do anything, so the fact that you can use it as a fun toy, recording silly messages, or a cute keepsake with a special message from a loved one, just takes it into a whole new league.
