Snapfish photobook review - keeping the memories alive !

I've shared lots of my holiday snaps with you since getting back from our fortnight in Morocco over the summer and it's been lovely looking back at the experiences, especially now that the cold and drizzle has become the norm. Even better news was that Snapfish offered us a code to make a photobook, allowing us to create a lasting reminder of our holiday.

The first job was to go through all the photos we'd taken and choose the ones that we wanted to immortalise. I found that it was a good idea to put them all in a "Snapfish" folder on my desktop so that they were easy to find and upload to the photobook creator when the time came.

We were sent a code worth £50 which was enough to create a hardbacked 8"x11" photobook containing a whopping 52 pages - that's a lot of photos to select ! Luckily, the photobook creator takes all the hard work out and with just a couple of clicks, the whole book is made for you. This does mean that you're limited in the changes that you can make - you can't select which photos go on which page for example, but you can swap around the different photos within each double page or change the page layout. (You can create the whole thing from scratch, but I didn't have the time or the energy to do so !)

I love the picture that was selected for the front cover - the typical blue Moroccan door that is half-open, inviting you in to a world of mystery and surprises beyond.

And we couldn't help but giggle at the (removable) warning label that was stuck on Madhouse Daddy's head on the the plastic on the back cover when it arrived !

We all love looking through it and it's great for the kids to be able to look through photo albums without damaging them or getting fingerprints all over them. Pierre and Juliette have even asked to take it to school to show their teachers ! They love showing ti to everyone who visits The Madhouse too.

If you're now thinking that you want to make a photo book too, for this week only, you can get a 40% discount plus free delivery by using the code 4BOOK913 at the checkout (offer valid until midnight on 29th September 2013).
