Santa's reindeer has come to live at The Madhouse !

For the tenth year running IKEA has launched its Soft Toy for Education campaign just in time for Christmas. If you're unaware of the scheme, for every soft toy and children’s book sold in stores between 20th October and 4th January, the IKEA Foundation will donate €1 to children’s education through UNICEF and Save the Children. Since 2003, the Soft Toys for Education campaign has reached more than 10 million children through 90 projects in 46 different countries with an amazing €57 million donated in total by the IKEA Foundation.

To mark the launch, we were sent this utterly beautiful reindeer toy - the photos don't do it justice because you can't feel how beautifully soft he is.

Pierre can't stop cuddling him and has taken him to bed every single night since he's arrived.

He also loves pretending to ride him around the room shouting "Ho ho ho, I'm Father Christmas bringing you all presents" ! You can tell we're all getting excited about Christmas already !

The reindeer is just one of the toys available though. The complete collection offers 26 toys, ranging from gorgeous little finger puppets for £1 to a very cute unicorn hobby horse for £9.50. The range, including adorable little elves and fairies, cuddly goats and dragons, takes inspiration from children's fairy tales. It's a great place to look for Christmas presents and you'll be able to feel good, knowing you've helped raise money for charity at the same time as doing your Christmas shopping.

star rating : 5/5

RRP : £9.50 for the reindeer

Disclosure : We received the toy in order to write an honest review.
