Shloer Celebration Pink Fizz review

Whether you're pregnant or breastfeeding, being the designated driver or just fancy avoiding the alcohol every now and then, Shloer have come up with the perfect alcohol-free festive tipple, the aptly-named Shloer Celebration. It is available in two flavours, White Grape and Pink Fizz, and we received a bottle of the latter to try out.

I immediatley loved the fact that it really looks the business. It would look great on the table for Christmas dinner or New Year's Eve parties and will make you feel like you're drinking something special and not missing out while the others sip champagne or cocktails because it comes with a popping cork ! This also means that it's extra special for teens and tweens to drink as they'll feel all grown up too.

It has a lovely refreshing, fruity flavour that's slightly less sweet than the other Shloer varieties - it's made with a mixture of red and white grape juices - and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it contains no preservatives, artificial colours, sweeteners or flavourings. (This is true of all Shloer drinks.) The flavour is subtle enough that it could be enjoyed with dinner without overpowering what you're eating - it would be perfect with poultry (I'm instantly thinking of the Christmas turkey !) or fish, for example - but it's also lovely on its own for pre-dinner drinks or just an enjoyable night in.

100ml of Shloer Pink Fizz contains 46 calories and 11.3g of carbs. If you're watching your waistline, you might like to know that the same quantity of champagne contains 73.7 calories  and 100ml of Baileys contains a whopping 327 calories ! So there's another reason for switching over to Shloer Celebration over the festive period !
