I have fond memories of the the Sugar Puffs Honey Monster from my own childhood - "Tell them about the Honey, Mummy !" - so I probably got even more excited than the Madhouse Mini-Testers when these boxes of new Honey Monster WOWs arrived for us to try out. They are a new multigrain breakfast cereal available in two flavours - Honey WOWs and Choco WOWs and contain four varieties of wholegrain (oat, wheat, barley and rice).
Each WOW is a source of fibre, fortified with iron and contains no artificial flavours, artificial colours or artificial preservatives. We thought they tasted very nice - the honey ones reminded us of Honey Loops, which are already a big favourite at The Madhouse. The kids were slightly disappointed that there were only O's and no W's in the boxes though - that would have been a good gimmick to fit in with the name and make them stand out from the competition.
A 30g serving of Choco WOWs provides 123 calories, 2g of fat (of which 1g saturated), 22g of carbs (of which 9g sugars) and 2g of fibre.
