Fudge Kitchen Puddings Selection review

Fudge Kitchen recently sent us through a box of their Puddings Selection gourmet fudge miniatures to try out. The box promises "miniature moments of pure pudding enjoyment". Ooh, certainly sounds good so far !

Inside the box, the fudge has real wow-factor. Each square looks pretty and is easily identifiable. The selection of flavours is varied and they've managed to get several of my favourite desserts in there : Sticky Toffee Pudding, Raspberry Pavlova, Lemon Tart, Apple Crumble, Cherry Bakewell, Chocolate Brownie, Pecan Pie, Orange Torte and Hazelnut Praline.

Each piece weighs around 20g which I wouldn't actually say is that miniature - I bit a piece in half and shared it with Sophie and we both had plenty to savour the flavour, although we did share another piece straight afterwards ! It's very sweet so one piece is plenty. The flavours are delicate but recognisable. Fudge Kitchen make their delicacies by hand from the finest natural ingredients and use no preservatives. They wouldn't need preservatives anyway because these won't be hanging around for long ! They make a nice change from chocolates, if you want a slightly more original sweet treat too.

  4. I love fudge but after having a similar themed box of chocolates from Thorntons, that I wasn't terribly impressed with, I'm now sceptical about how good the flavours are so it's good to hear what someone else thinks first.
