Madhouse recipe : Juliette's favourite (and very quick) pasta

Sophie is out at her school disco (picked up by a boy who offered her a flower no less - I definitely have material to wind her up for the next 6 months now !) so I only needed a 2 kiddie-sized portion meal, because there was leftover soup for me and Madhouse Daddy to finish off. I did a quick inventory of what was needing to be used up in the fridge and came up this quick pasta dish. Juliette declared it the best pasta ever (isn't that always the way? You spend hours slaving over a hot stove and get met with a "hmmm it's ok", but throw something together in 30 seconds and it's hailed a culinary masterpiece !!). Anyway, she made me promise to share the "recipe" so here it is !

Juliette's favourite (and very quick) pasta

ingredients ;

leftover cooked pasta
10cl crème fraîche
4 hot dog sausages, chopped into bite sized pieces
1 can sweetcorn, drained
parmesan
2 x Dairylea or Laughing Cow cheese triangles

Put the cream and sausages in a saucepan and heat until it just starts to bubble. Add the pasta and warm through, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Add the sweetcorn and stir in the cheese triangles and parmesan until it's all melted. That's it !! (This has to be the simplest recipe I've ever shared !)

  1. Kids always seem to love random pasta dishes filled with leftovers! This one looks like something my kids would love.
