Sunday weigh-in : as expected !


Last week I put on 900g and was gutted because it was totally undeserved. This week it's another gain - a smaller one luckily - but I'm OK with that because I was expecting it and, to be honest, I'm relieved it wasn't worse ! It was Madhouse Daddy's birthday which meant drinks and nibbles, a meal at the eat-all-you-like buffer at the local Chinese restaurant and birthday cake. Enough said ! Next week will be better !

Positives of the week

- Not sure the Hypnotikadiet will be for me - it needs 40 minutes a day which doesn't sound much but 40 minutes peace and quiet without the kids or a million things to do is actually pretty hard to find ! It has inspired me to get back into regularly listening to the SlimPod though - 10 minutes is definitely do-able.

- We did get in a big geocaching walk - over 10,000 steps without counting the rest of the normal daily walking because I only put the pedometer on when we went out.

- I've actually made pretty good food choices all week, apart from the birthday stuff !

Current targets 

Last week's target : Kick of the Hypnotikadiet and let it do its stuff - lose the 900g that I put back on this week. (FAIL)

This week's targets : Get back on track - get the numbers going down again. It's taken 2 weeks to put back on 1.5kg so let's see if I can lose it again in a week. 

Short-term targets Get back to the 70-somethings.

Longer-term targets :  Get my badges back to "weight lost" being more than "left to lose"

START WEIGHT :93.7kg
TARGET WEIGHT : 67.8kg
WEIGHT LAST WEEK  : 84.8kg
WEIGHT TODAY : 85.3kg
WEIGHT LOST SO FAR :  8.4kg
STILL TO GO : 17.3kg
CHANGE THIS WEEK : +0.5kg

  1. In a similar position to you as it was James' birthday this week and I ordered a delicious chocolate cake from Waitrose for him - we've had it throughout the week! Although all within my calorie allowance!
    It's never nice but small fluctuations aren't too bad, I'm sure this coming week will be better!

    1. Strangely, I had a shower and jumped back on the scales and they'd gone back to last week's weight - shame they didn't do that before I weighed in ! lol

  4. I always struggle with weight loss when their are birthday parties and other social events going on... I just cannot seem to hide myself away either - you will get back on track and will have forgotten about the 900g before you know it xx

  5. I tried Hypnotika and didn't get along with it either - 40 minutes is just unachieveable so I've sacked it off. Here's to next week!
