After a couple of big days out this week and a broken night's sleep due to the storms, I'd decided to have a quiet Saturday. But it wasn't to be ! We heard music and went to investigate and this lot was on the school car park just around the corner ! Needless to say, we had to go and check it out. This vintage-looking roundabout was the first stop - it looks just like the ones I used to go on as a kid !
The biggest laugh was the jousting on an inflatable arena. I couldn't resist taking a couple of little videos on my camera.
I love the way Juliette puts her heart and soul into it but Sophie looks like she doesn't need to make the slightest effort.
As for Pierre, I think he's found his vocation - either stuntman or circus clown !
Time for some safer and quieter pursuits !
Sophie won a water pistol - that will doubtless get a lot of use over the holidays !
The giant Connect 4 was very popular.
Everybody stand well back, Juliette's having a go at the darts !
Oh blimey, time for another round of jousting !
And some bouncing on the bouncy castle.
"Mum, I'm tired !"
'Ouch, ouch, ouch - it's hot !"
I should point out that this isn't a rude gesture in France - he was saying "yeah man, it's cool" !!
Pierre had another ride on a donkey - that's two this week ! Apparently, the donkey wasn't very happy because he could sense the stormy weather.

Juliette took on another friend who is twice her size !
Then it was time for a quick ice lolly to cool down and we headed for home.
Even when we don't go out looking for adventures, they come and find us !
