When I was approached to see if we'd like to try out a brand new crunchy snack from Veronica's, I was intrigued as it was a brand that I'd never heard of. I went to investigate and liked what I saw. Mum of three, Veronica Kenneally (AKA The Good Crisp Crusader) is passionate about providing healthy snacks that kids won’t turn their noses up at.
We received a new addition to the range, Crunchy Creatures, which are baked cheese corn snacks that are gluten free and contain 40% less fat than regular corn snacks.They are also made with 100% natural ingredients.
The most appealing thing as far as the kids were concerned was the cute dinosaur shape though - I was also very impressed that, despite having arrived through the post, they weren't all crushed to bits.
Tastewise, they're lovely. You don't get the full-on atificial flavour of Cheesy Wotsits, for example, but you do get a subtler, definitely cheesy and very tasty flavour. Every single member of the Madhouse Family, regardless of age, gave them a big thumbs up.
These snacks come in two sizes, 15g lunchbox-friendly packs available to purchase in a multi-pack, or 30g packs for a grown-up snack. Each 15g pack (which doesn't sound much but it was plenty for a small, diet-friendly grown-up snack or a kid's portion) only contains 76 calories, making them a guilt-free treat even if you're watching your waistline.
You can find new Veronica’s Crunchy Creatures in Tesco stores nationwide for an RRP of £0.89 for a single 30g pack or £1.99 for a multipack of 5x15g packs. The 30g packs can be found as part of the lunchtime meal deal in Tesco.

Like the idea of healthier snack /s. Seem a bit expensive. Might be ok as part of the Tesco Meal Deal range. Think the kids would be keen on the animal creatures shapes.
