Matt Hatter Chronicles 3D puzzle Heroes & Villains review

I'm sure you've heard of The Mad Hatter but how about The Matt Hatter Chronicles? Here's the official blurb : "Already established as a firm favourite on Nickelodeon and CITV amongst 6 – 9 age children, Matt Hatter Chronicles is a pulse-pounding adventure comedy series appealing to the hidden hero in us all. To save our world and the gateway to a different dimension, the Multiverse, Matt must battle and capture infamous Super Villains from Movie, Myth and Legend. The programme revolutionizes TV viewing with its state of the art ‘Multivision’ animation (3D without glasses!) and his Multivision Specs make Matt the best Hatter Hero ever."

When Tactic sent us through a Matt Hatter Chronicles puzzle to review, I was impressed to see that they've managed to capture the very essence of the show. At first glance, it's just a regular 200 piece jigsaw puzzle. The puzzle has fairly small pieces - it's recommended for ages 8+ - so Sophie took over the testing !

The puzzle features the arch enemy of the Hatter Heroes, the evil Lord Tenoroc and his loyal gargoyle sidekick Claw. It's packed with bright colours, making the pieces easy to locate and position.

But the fun doesn't stop once you've slotted in the final piece. Each puzzle has a clever 3D effect which can be seen through the special 3D glasses included in the box. I couldn't help but giggle when Sophie put them on !

Pierre has been wearing them pretending to be a superhero, even now that the puzzle has been broken up and put away for another day !
