Lily O' Brien's Christmas Chocolates review

You can't have Christmas without chocolate - it's as much part of the festive over-indulgence as Christmas pudding and mince pies - but I always like something a bit special and out-of-the-ordinary to really mark the occasion. When Lily O Brien's got in touch to ask if we'd like to sample one of the products from their Christmas range, I scuttled off to investigate because it was a brand I'd never heard of before. As soon as I laid eyes on their website, I let out a few oohs and aahs because they have some seriously good-looking chocolates and chocolate boxes !

They sent us through their Christmas Star Petit Indulgence Collection which contains 10 chocolates, a nice amount if you're trying to watch your waistline but know that you're easily tempted !  While they're slightly off the mark with their French (it should be Petite Indulgence really !), they got top marks for all the rest because the chocolates taste as good as they look.

The lovely star-shaped keepsake box showcases six delicious milk, dark and white chocolate recipes : Raspberry Creme, Praline Perfection, Orange Chocolate Ganache, Le Crunch Chocolat, Sticky Toffee and Simply Chocolate. All very nice indeed and they barely cost more than a cheap selection box so if you want a more sophisticated and impressive stocking filler, they're definitely the way to go.

RRP : £7.00
