Ravensburger 3D puzzle - Tower Bridge

I'm a huge fan of the Ravensburger 3D collection of puzzles. So far, we've made Big Ben and the Empire State Building, as well as a Medieval House, so we were delighted to receive a Tower Bridge 3D puzzle to add to our collection.

What made this one extra special was the fact that we visited the real Tower Bridge just a few weeks ago when we went to see the Poppies at The Tower. At the end of our weekend in London, we even drove across the bridge on the way home, which was very special, so the puzzle is a lovely souvenir of our time in the capital.

The puzzle only contains 216 pieces so it doesn't take long to put together. You basically only need to construct the two towers, then you also get lots of extra plastic pieces to put together the rest of the structure.

As with all the other Ravensburger 3D puzzles that we've tried, the pieces are made of plastic and some of them are hinged so you pop them into position before putting them together. To make things easier, the pieces are numbered on the back so your first job is to sift through and line them up in order, then putting them together is child's play.

The towers are easy to construct and stay together well. The other plastic parts are a bit fiddly and pop out a few times until you've got everything lined up so it's best to have a couple of extra helping hands to keep things in place - great as a parent-child bonding activity or a fun way to while away a couple of hours as a family on Boxing Day !

The finished puzzle is very impressive and looks very lifelike but you will need a lot of space for putting it out on show because it's over a metre long !

Disclosure : We received the product in order to write an honest review.
