Plasticine Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Squidgems review

One of the things that Pierre was delighted to discover in his stocking  this Christmas were these Plasticine Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Squidgems. They're great as a rainy day activity or even for keeping the kids entertained in the car on a long journey because everything they need is in the little pack.

Inside the bag, you get just enough green and brown plasticine to make a turtle and a sheet of cardboard accessories to press out to create your character.

The first job was blending the green and brown to get the right colour for the shell, pressing it into the right shape then using a pencil to draw the tortoise-shell design on.

Following the little instruction manual, you roll a ball and some sausages for the head, arms and legs then use the remaining brown as trim.

The cardboard accessories for the face, armour and weapons (oh, and pizza !) make it all look much more recognisable as a Ninja Turtle ! Pierre was very impressed and it only takes a few minutes to put together.

There are lots of different characters for you to collect and at about £1.99, they're the perfect pocket money price. We (oops, I mean Santa !) found ours at The Works but I'm sure other places stock them. I've no doubt we'll be buying some more !

  2. Well done, Pierre! I better not show it to Eddie, or he would want exactly the same.
