Kinivo BTH240 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones review

You can tell by the look on her face just how impressed Sophie was when she received some Kinivo BTH240 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones to review. I must admit, I personally can't keep up with the latest trends in headphones - they went from huge clunky things in the seventies and eighties to tiny in-ear buds but they seem to be getting bigger again now !

The Kinivo BTH240 are on-ear headphones but they're very lightweight. The shape looked unusual to me and I soon realised why.

You wear them wrapped around the back of your head, not on top as I was expecting. I thought they'd slip or feel uncomfortable but Sophie thought they were great.

They are cable-free bluetooth headphones that can be used to listen to music on ipods, tablets and smartphones and also as a Bluetooth phone headset for hands free calling. I was impressed to see that you can use controls such as play, pause, next & previous track and volume directly on the headset. It has a micro-USB charger but the battery time is actually quite impressive (they list it as 10 hours which sounds about right).

As well as being really light (76g), they are also foldable and come with a snazzy carrying pouch so if you want to keep them in your handbag or gym bag or even coat pocket, they're ideal. In terms of sounds, they're great quality compared to Sophie's usual in-ear buds and they don't seem to leak too much sound.

The BTH240 model isn't currently available on amazon but it's the tweaked version of the BTH220, so you might like to check those out instead. They're available for under £20 which is great value for money.
