Easy Nails Nail Spa review

Juliette was delighted to receive an Easy Nails Nail Spa to review. It's a new product from Character Options and targets little girls aged 5+.

It's a cute looking piece of equipment with an appearance halfway between a robot and a dodo ! Juliette loved the pink and purple colour scheme.

It requires 3 x AA batteries which aren't included. It's quite nifty - there are two buttons to use, one to dip and one to paint and they have cleverly put them on both sides so that you can use both hands, depending on which one is being painted. (Make sure it's in play mode or it won't work properly - we thought ours was faulty until we checked the wheel at the front of the base unit and saw that it had been left in set up mode.)

You position your finger on the nail rest then push the buttons so it loads the brush with paint then paints your finger. Obviously you need to put your finger in the right place and it takes a bit of practice to achieve this (you can help by pushing the nail rest forwards, backwards, left or right so that it's under the brush) so I would say you get a less precise result than when you paint your own nails free-hand. It's a lot more fun though, as you can see from Juliette's face.

It comes with two bottles of nail varnish in pink and purple. They are ideal for young children because they are washable and easy to peel off, but you can use the machine with your own nail varnishes too. There are three brush heads which are easy to remove by pressing on the two buttons that look like eyes and they can be washed clean in warm water. The nail spa also comes complete with glitter and stickers for extra bling.

You can paint your own nails or have a girlie pampering session. Madhouse Grandad visited at the wrong time and was cajoled into having his nails painted !

Just as well it's easy to peel off !

    1. Aww how old is your daughter? I think it gets easier to control the bigger the nails so maybe it's because Juliette is a bit older/bigger ?
