Lushice Grown Up Cocktail Sorbets review

One of life's little pleasures during the summer months is cooling off with a refreshing ice cream or iced lolly at the end of a hot day. Here is Pierre, modelling his beat-the-Turkish-heat hair cut and enjoying a frozen treat.

Well, the Madhouse kids weren't the only ones to finish off their meal with a cheeky iced treat because, when I went rummaging in the freezer, I unearthed this duo of naughty-but-nice grown up sorbets with a splash of alcohol from Lushice that I'd received some time ago then promptly forgotten about. Now that we've tasted them, they won't be hanging about for long though !

In the first tub was Mojito with a splash of rum. It really does taste of mojitos so it brought back happy memories of being on holiday in Morocco sipping mojitos as the sun went down. Yum !

In the second tub was Margarita with a splash of tequila. I love drinking frozen margaritas so this one was obviously going to be a hit - again, it really does taste of the cocktail and it's a really refreshing and light way to finish a meal.

It says on the packaging to wait a few minutes for the sorbet to soften a bit and this really does bring out the zingy, zesty, fresh flavours and soft gooeyness.

100g of Lushice provides 105 calories so it's a guilt-free option, much lower in calories than the liquid version, especially as you're more likely to stop at one ! It only contains 2% alcohol too so you don't need to worry if you're the designated driver.

Lushice is also available in Strawberry Daiquiri and Pina Colada flavours and as they happen to be two of my favourite cocktails, I will absolutely have to try those out too !
