We must have hundreds of books scattered around the various bedrooms in The Madhouse but this is the first one that is wearable !
We have had a similar book from the library so Pierre instantly knew what to do and had great fun looking through the eye holes then giggling at the photos I took of him.
The chunky board book can be played with from age 1+ but I'd say 6-year-old Pierre's head is exactly the right size for maximum effect.
That hasn't stopped me from playing with it too though, even if my head is probably a bit big !
The vibrantly-coloured illustrations by Bob Lentz are the main attraction but the short rhymes by Donald Lemke add to the enjoyment because they give you little catch phrases to shout out.
As you can see, Pierre had lots of fun getting into character and pulling faces adapted to each situation !
It's a great book with guaranteed giggles for the whole family.
