When Slumbersac got in touch and asked if we'd like to review one of their baby sleeping bags, I smiled nostalgically. All three of the Madhouse kids used to love their sleeping bags when they were small and, as a parent, I loved the fact that they wouldn't kick them off in the night and get cold or risk getting tangled up in them. I emailed back to say that they sounded great but that we were out of that age range now and was both surprised and delighted to learn that their products go up to age 10.
They have a wide range of sleeping bags on offer, from lightweight muslin bags to heavyweight winter bags, travel bags and even their innovative sleeping bag with feet, for toddlers learning to walk. They sent us through this unisex pirate-themed sleeping bag which had Juliette and Pierre fighting over it because they both wanted it !
In the end, Juliette won because it's huge - a whopping 150cm long! It's great for duvet days or chilling out watching the telly on the settee.
It's comfortable and roomy enough to lay down or sit up in it.
You can also walk around in it if you're careful.
And if you're feeling full of beans, it's great for indoor sack races too !
It's made from soft cotton and has a lovely soft polyester fleece, which keeps little ones warm through the night, and which also helps to prevent allergies. The long zip that runs from top to bottom makes it easy to get into and out of and, if you want an extra special gift, you can also have it personalised.
Slumbersac also have a Sleep Centre on their website which has loads of advice for parents provided by sleep adviser Eve Squires.
