For about the past month, I've been stuck on a plateau and my weight hasn't budged AT ALL which has been really frustrating. Well, that's the official weigh-in version but it's actually been fluctuating between 89.6kg and 90.3kg but I got sick of adding and subtracting a few hundred grammes to get back to the same figure so I logged it as a no change.
But this week, I've finally shifted down to 89kg. Woo hoo ! Let's hope this is the start of a new downward curve.
I haven't changed anything in my food/exercise but I have started pampering myself a bit more. I got myself a new haircut - well, just a trim really but as my hair was dry and lacklustre, I followed the hairdresser's advice and went for a "transparent colour" which barely changes the natural colour but adds extra shine.
This was before ...
And this is after. (Although the loose curls she put in at the bottom have now dropped out.) I can't see any difference in colour but Juliette thinks it's darker and Sophie says it's hidden all the grey (thanks for that !!). It's definitely glossier though.
I've also started a #BathroomBlitz to make some space in the drawers which has seen me using face masks and body creams and foot creams and hand creams and various other lotions and potions on a regular basis. I'm usually very low maintenance so I didn't think I'd stick with it but it's actually good fun rummaging through my samples and half-used bottles to see what I fancy trying out next. I can see that my skin is much softer and clearer and I think this is all adding to my general mood of positivity. Maybe that's what gave the scales a nudge in the right direction, who knows ?! If nothing else, it's making the bathroom tidier !

You look sooo pretty, Cheryl! In the photos your hair looks darker after the treatment, but that could be the photo. It added body to it.
