A Moo-vellous package from A2 Milk ! (review)

Here at The Madhouse, we're very lucky in that nobody has any special dietary requirements. I do have lots of friends though who need to carefully scrutinise the labels when shopping because they need a gluten-free or dairy-free diet so I know how hard it can be. Before totally banishing milk from your diet because you find it hard to digest, you should try out A2 Milk though. It's a cow's milk that is naturally free from the A1 protein that can lead to bloating and digestive discomfort.

I reviewed A2 Milk last year and tried it in mashed potato and cheese sauce, on cereal and in tea and coffee. (Click here to see that review and find out more about the milk.) Nobody could taste any difference whatsoever. A2 milk is now also available as long life milk, in both semi-skimmed and skimmed versions. I love the new format Tetra Pak cartons which are easier to fit in the fridge and the fact that they are long life means that you can keep them in the cupboard just in case you run out of milk in the fridge. Especially over the Christmas period when you may have unexpected guests and the shops may well be closed.

Or when the kids decide, after traipsing around the Christmas market in the cold, that they want macaroni cheese for tea and you realise you haven't got enough mik in the fridge !

The long life A2 milk is available at Ocado and costs £1.39 for 1 litre, which is the same price as the fresh A2 milk.
