Fancy taking the kids to meet the Florasaurus in London or Manchester?!

With a long bank holiday weekend on the way, the streets of London will be packed with hordes of tourists, taking in the sights and snapping selfies of themselves with all the famous monuments. One special visitor did its own sightseeing tour this week and it didn't even need a selfie stick to see above the crowds !

Meet the Florasaurus, a gentle giant created by Flora to demonstrate how many of the world’s biggest and most magnificent creatures were powered by plants.

I'm sure many of the people on the London Eye did a double take when they spotted Flora's huge flowery friend wending through the capital's streets !

I love the way nobody seems to be batting an eyelid in this photo though !

The Florasaurus will be visiting Westfield Stratford City and intu Trafford Centre, Manchester over the Easter Holidays to help reengage kids with where their food comes from. That sounds like a great way of keeping the kids busy during the holidays - not only is it fun and educational, it also won't cost you a penny. (OK, who am I kidding? They'll drag you off to the shops afterwards !)

The free interactive experience will include photo opportunities with the Florasaurus, competitions and activities made with the help of Eden Project activity boards, at the following times:

Westfield Stratford, London:
• Friday 25th March 2016 – Monday 4th April 2016 (excluding Easter Sunday 27th March)
• Open in alignment with centre hours

Trafford Centre, Manchester:
· Thursday 7th April 2016 – Sunday 10th April 2016
· Open in alignment with centre hours

Forget the green-eyed monster - head on over to meet the green-fuelled monster !
