Giveaway #542 : Win a selection of 6 Augmented Reality Kids' Greetings Cards - closed - winner Andrew Colin Hindley

These days, when birthdays come around, you basically have two choices - send an online e-card, which always seems a bit impersonal, or buy a traditional card that will probably barely even be looked at before it ends up in the recycling bin. Well, there is now a third option available, thanks to Hatch Cards and their innovative range of kids' greetings cards that come to life using a free app.

You just need to download the free Zappar app then scan your card with your phone and watch it come to life ! You can start by watching a cute animation then you get access to a range of little games. The Madhouse kids thought they were great fun.

There are a wide range of cute card choices that will appeal to children of both sexes, including animals, superheroes, fairies, dinosaurs, aliens and robots.

It really is a lovely concept and at £2.99 per card, they're about the same price as a traditional card without the extra augmented reality content. Have a look at the little video to see how it works.
