Giveaway #549 : Win Q Pootle 5 Pootle The Explorer dvd - closed - winner Laura Z Banks

We love Q Pootle 5 here at The Madhouse so we were delighted to receive a review copy of the friendly alien's latest DVD, Pootle The Explorer, which will hit the shelves next week, on 11th April.

The DVD features seven episodes from the hit CBeebies series : The Cosmic Whipple, Pootle The Explorer, The Groobie Woogie, A Friend For Ray, Rocking Not Rolling, Beat Box Bud-D, Planet Dave In A Spin.

We loved the names of the episodes - cosmic whipple and groobie woogie just roll off the tongue - and settled down happily to watch the whole dvd in one go. The kids love the cute characters and imaginative stories while I love trying to work out the celebs behind the voices, including Ed Gaughan (Bunnytown, Black Mirror); Joanna Page (Gavin & Stacey, Poppy Cat); Steven Kynman (Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam); Richard Ridings (Peppa Pig); and Ella Kenion (Cuckoo, The Hive, Swashbuckle).

Q Pootle 5 and his friends, Oopsy, Eddi, Stella, Ray, Groobie, Bud-D and Planet Dave, love to have fun in space, finding adventures and tackling the everyday problems of the final frontier. Despite the interstellar settings, there are lots of life lessons for young viewers to pick up from watching the show.

Q Pootle 5 is based on the best-selling books by the hugely popular children’s author and illustrator Nick Butterworth. As an extra bonus, the DVD comes with a free poster.
