What's Cooking at The Madhouse? menu plan 8/7

My #KitchenClearout linky was born from the fact that every time I was on holiday, I'd have a good stock take of all the sauces and sachets of seasoning mixes cluttering up my cupboards and use up as many of them as possible. I've decided to have a go at that again, and I've just made a big list of all the things I want to use up - it's very eclectic with everything from sage & onion stuffing and Jamaican jerk sauce to tamarind paste and refried beans, so it should be an interesting menu plan !

Saturday

lunch - probably McDonalds

dinner - split pea and bacon soup

Sunday

lunch - roast dinner or BBQ depending on the weather

dinner - leftover soup or sandwiches

Monday

lunch - paella with prawns, peppers, onions and chorizo

dinner - slow cooker chicken in red wine with bulgur wheat & veggies

Tuesday

lunch - yellow bean pork stir fry with soba noodles

dinner - pineapple habanero chicken with refried beans, guacamole and rice

Wednesday

lunch - homemade BBQ burgers with coleslaw & Actifry chips

dinner - chicken balti & rice

Thursday

lunch -  Spanish chicken with Mediterranean veg and couscous

dinner - Tuscan stew with bacon, soup pasta, dried beans, veggies, ...

Friday

lunch - risotto - not sure what yet as it may incorporate leftovers - possibly pork, goat's cheese & pear

dinner - Mexican chicken with garlic & rosemary wedges & tomato salad

    1. It's using a bottle of habanero cooking sauce so I'm hoping it won't be so spicy it blows our heads off !
