Drumond Park Stoopido review

Hot on the heels of Sshh! Don't Wake Dad!, which already had us in fits of giggles (click through for our review and you can also enter here for your chance to win the game), Drumond Park sent us through another of their hilarious family games to review - Stoopido - which hasn't even hit the shops yet. I'm one of the lucky few who have been given the chance to give away a copy of the game, meaning that my winner will be one of the first people in the country to own the game. (Giveaway coming up in a couple of weeks.)

Inside the box, you get four pairs of glasses and lots and lots of comedy eyes, noses, ears and hats to attach to them.

Up to four players can play at any one time and each player dons a pair of glasses.

There is a dice to roll which shows you which of the four piles (noses, ears, eyes or hats) you need to slap. The first player to put their hand on it chooses one of the funny features on that pile and gives it to the person of their choice. If everyone already has that feature, they can remove it from their own glasses. There is also a Stoopitoot (squeaky toy) that you may have to hit instead, giving you free reign to do whatever you like (take a piece off your own glasses or add any feature to any player) or the glasses symbol which means you get something added to your glasses by the player on your left.

It's all a bit fast and furious but to be honest, nobody cares if they are losing because the whole object of the game is laughing at how ridiculous you all look !

The winner is the last player whose face is incomplete, but the Madhouse kids were adding extra features to their own faces in the end, because they wanted to join in the fun and didn't really care about winning anyway, as long as they were giggling !

Each add-on feature is double-sided with two different designs so there are innumerable combinations that you can put together. The bogey nose seemed to be particularly popular !

We did find that some of the features (ears and noses in particular) kept falling off and the eyes hindered your view of the piles that you needed to slap, so you may prefer to keep your glasses on the table in front of you during play and just put them on at the end.

Whichever way you choose to play, it's all a lot of fun and silliness, however old you are !
