It was interesting seeing the rock formations created by the lava - I'll be blogging about our time in Lanzarote very soon once I've sorted through the photos :)
They are all dormant so they're just like big hills but it was interesting to see the lava formations. My son is 7 and he was convinced that he'd see one erupting with lava and flames pouring out so he was a bit disappointed !
I went to Lanzarote with my best friend when I was 19. When we arrived I wondered where the hell I had brought her to but then we realised what an amazing volcanic island it was. Are there still lots of Cesar Manrique sculptures about?
