What's Cooking at The Madhouse? menu plan 7/10

We're definitely into winter warmer weather now so my slow cooker will be permanently living on the worktop ! I'll be playing around with my Polish-themed Kitchen Trotter box this week and also working through some more of my bookmarked recipes. My bookmarked #readcookeat recipes have been inspiring some lovely meals lately so I'll have to have another look at those. I also want to clear out some of my jars of cooking sauce and seasoning sachets to make more space in the cupboards, so I'll have to delve deep and see what I find !

Saturday

lunch - probably McDonalds as it's a nice way of easing into the weekend and it's turned into a tradition :)

dinner - homemade soup - I have a recipe for Polish pearl barley soup which sounds ideal

Sunday

lunch - probably a roast dinner- chicken or pork are usually the go-to options

dinner - cheese on toast, sandwiches or leftover soup

Monday

dinner - My favourite Polish meal - pierogis ! Looking forward to trying to make these from scratch :) (You can see the ones we ate in Poland here : Pierogis #1 &ampPierogis #2)

Tuesday

dinner - chicken casserole

Wednesday

lunch - tacos

dinner - cheese and bacon Danish with root veg mash

Thursday

dinner - chicken piccata al limone with rice

Friday

dinner - prawn marinara with spaghetti

Bookmarked bakes that I might have time to try :

Peach Dutch Baby
New York cookies
Polish poppyseed roll
chocolate hazelnut tart
